Here is an academic research paper I wrote on the impact of the CW tv show Supernatural and why it has survived and thrived for over 15 seasons. Supernatural is one of my favorite tv shows and was actually a point of bonding for my best friend and I when we first met. I wrote this paper because Supernatural was one of the first tv shows that taught me the power that television holds to bring people together and create a community for people to feel accepted in all their weirdness. I hope you enjoy it!

PS. This paper was written in early 2019 before it was announced that the show would be ending after its 15th season. References made about the show running for as long as the creators and actors are willing to make it were written before this announcement.
